À propos

About Us Manara is a social impact startup dedicated to unlocking human potential and diversifying the global tech sector, particularly in the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region, with a focus on Palestine and women. Despite a high level of education, the region faces significant youth unemployment, particularly among women in tech fields. For instance, while 52% of computer science students in Palestine are women, a staggering 83% find themselves unemployed after graduation. We achieved initial success through a fully remote solution that identified top computer scientists, equipped them with interviewing skills, vetted them, and connected them with incredible job opportunities (both remote and on-site). Our results speak for themselves: in our last batch, 71% of our referrals to Google were hired. We have now developed a self-learning online platform that serves more than 50k active users each month and continues to grow rapidly. Our team is composed of experienced professionals from renowned companies including Google, Amazon, Upwork, Nvidia, Box, and Gaza Sky Geeks. We are proud to have garnered support from notable investors such as Stripe, Y Combinator, Seedcamp, Reid Hoffman, Paul Graham, Jessica Livingston, and others.
