Overview: As an Applications Analyst II, you will play a key role in supporting, analyzing, and enhancing administrative and operational software applications. You will collaborate closely with users, operational teams, and IT to ensure data integrity, regulatory compliance, and effective integration of application systems. This role requires strong analytical skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to manage system changes that support organizational goals and service delivery. This is a hybrid role where our team works in the Erie office two days a week and remote the other three days. Our team follows a rotating on-call schedule, covering 4:30 PM to midnight on weekdays and 8:30 AM to midnight on weekends. Currently, the rotation occurs approximately every 6–7 weeks. What you’ll bring: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess user needs and translate them into effective system solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with users, IT teams, and vendors. Advanced technical skills related to software applications, hardware, and data interfacing/integrity processes. Knowledge of system security, data privacy, and compliance with regulatory standards such as HIPAA. What you’ll have: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information systems, or a related field with 3 years of experience in software systems support and implementation; or an associate degree with 6 years of relevant experience. Hands-on experience supporting, enhancing, and implementing software applications in an operational or administrative environment. Experience supporting Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, with familiarity in CareLogic considered a strong asset. Exposure to finance-related applications or experience working with financial systems is highly valued. Experience with SQL. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing effectively to integrated project teams. Eligibility to meet regulatory, security, and compliance requirements as applicable to the role. A typical day may include: Supporting, enhancing, and maintaining software applications to meet operational and organizational needs. Serving as a liaison between users, IT teams, and vendors to ensure effective system functionality and data integrity. Conducting needs analysis and coordinating system changes to maximize positive organizational impact. Assisting with the design, build, testing, implementation, and documentation of new or enhanced applications. Ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards while maintaining accurate system documentation and change histories. Extracting and analyzing data from multiple systems to support internal and external reporting requirements. Developing and delivering user training materials and providing end-user training as assigned. Participating in after-hours on-call helpdesk support on a rotational basis.
