Staking Platform Our core objective is to develop platform services that empower top-notch staking products for both retail and institutional clients. This way, individuals don't just trade cryptocurrencies; they earn dividends on them while also contributing to the security and decentralization of blockchain networks. The Coinbase Staking Data Team plays a pivotal role in supporting our staking products by creating and maintaining robust blockchain data pipelines and APIs. The team excels in ensuring the precision and scalability of staking data, integrating new blockchain assets, and aiding the development of APY-boosting technology. By addressing complex technical challenges, we enable seamless staking experiences for all users, thereby contributing to the thriving decentralized finance ecosystem. What You'll Be Doing Collaborating with teams across the company to integrate our services seamlessly. Engaging in code reviews and offering constructive feedback to uphold high code quality standards. Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues as they arise. What We Look For in You You bring 5+ years of experience in software engineering. Familiarity with GoLang and/or Ruby is a plus. You have designed, built, scaled, and maintained production services and understand how to create a service-oriented architecture. Experience in decomposing large software systems is an advantage. Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, allowing you to work effectively with other team members and stakeholders. You consistently write high-quality, well-tested code that meets customer needs. A keen eye for detail is crucial. You are passionate about building an open financial system that unites people globally. Nice to Haves A background in cryptocurrency. Experience with Solana data, indexing, and/or scaling large systems. Hands-on experience with crypto, including familiarity with onchain activities like interacting with Ethereum addresses, using ENS, and engaging with dApps or blockchain-based services. Pay Transparency Notice: The target annual salary for this position can range from $186,065 to $218,900 USD, plus a target bonus and equity, along with benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)).
