Job Description Join our innovative team as a Senior AI and Cloud Applications Developer, where your skills will drive the creation of cutting-edge AI and cloud-native applications. With your extensive knowledge in AI, cloud computing, and Python development, you'll play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining AI-powered applications within Oracle Cloud (OCI) and Oracle SaaS/PaaS environments. You'll collaborate with diverse teams to develop scalable solutions that set new industry standards. Preferred Skills and Experience: In-depth expertise in Python, including:
Debugging and refactoring complex codebases
Performance tuning and optimization
Experience with Generative AI and LLM frameworks such as:
OCI Generative AI services
LangChain
Working knowledge of vector databases and embeddings
Proficiency in Docker and managing containerized applications
Experience with Oracle Visual Builder Studio (VBS)
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows
Understanding of cloud-native architecture principles
Familiarity with OCI services including Compute, Object Storage, Logging, Monitoring, and IAM
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex production issues
Experience in SLA-driven, customer-facing support environments
Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and meticulous attention to detail
Ability to effectively manage multiple incidents and priorities
At least 10 years of software engineering or related experience
Willingness to travel up to 50%
Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and maintenance of Python-based cloud-native services on OCI
Debug, refactor, and optimize Python code for production environments
Design and integrate LLM and Generative AI solutions, including:
OCI Generative AI SDK
LangChain workflows
Embeddings and vector storage systems
Build and manage Docker images effectively
Implement CI/CD pipelines using Oracle Visual Builder Studio (VBS)
Ensure reliable application deployments and manage rollbacks seamlessly
Enhance logging, monitoring, and alerting for production workloads
Perform root cause analysis and address incidents in compliance with SLAs
Act as a key technical point of escalation for production issues
Mentor fellow developers and establish best practices for coding, deployment, and support
Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices
#LI-KA1 #LI-REMOTE Salary and Benefits: For US applicants, the hiring range is $96,800 to $251,600 per year, with potential bonus, equity, and compensation deferral options.
