Description
Responsibilities • Work under general supervision to understand data intricacies across business processes, data requirements, and data integrity within multiple systems • Document critical master data management (MDM) processes and develop checks and balances for internal controls • Support data loads and master data maintenance requests for all business groups • Raise issues to higher-level analysts or managers for review and accuracy validation • Collect, calculate, verify, and report incentive compensation for the field sales force • Assist in creating thorough documentation for all master data fields across systems, including MDM and Sales Compensation data • Support and provide input on processes to ensure consistent and accurate master data updates, including approval workflows • Communicate master data changes to all relevant stakeholders • Actively support the MDM team as the central point for data-related issues • Support OCA data loads through data gathering, template completion, and limited execution of data loads • Validate data accuracy and ensure compliance with J-SOX controls • Gather MDM change data and provide summary-level analytics in collaboration with senior analysts • Recommend changes to data structures, elements, and usage to optimize information flow • Run monthly incentive compensation processes, including manual sales and commission adjustments, splits, transfers, and bonus entries • Finalize monthly incentive compensation payable for Senior Manager approval and payroll submission • Coordinate with other analysts to complete files and communicate status to management • Provide recommendations and solutions for process improvements and compensation-related disputes and assist with implementation • Collaborate with sales teams to research discrepancies in commissions, bonuses, sales reporting, alignments, and compensation plans • Gather sales compensation committee exception requests and forward them to Senior or Lead Analysts • Assist sales stakeholders with reconciliation of sales credits and incentive compensation • Understand, maintain, and update incentive compensation policies and SOPs as needed • Perform other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred but not required • 2-4 years of experience in data analytics, finance, accounting, or equivalent roles preferred • Ability to work independently with general supervision and manage multiple deliverables • Understanding of master data and structural data relationships • Ability to identify when to escalate issues and seek guidance • Strong computer skills, including MS Excel, MS Access, and PowerPoint • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
