Qualifications Preference for candidates based in Columbus, OH, or Fairfax, VA, but open to highly qualified remote candidates in the Eastern Time Zone. U.S. citizenship is required, with ability to pass Public Trust investigations; security clearance is not necessary but may be client-dependent Key Requirements:
Deep hands-on experience designing and implementing custom AWS cloud solutions (not just standard deployments). Demonstrated expertise with NIST compliance and FedRAMP authorization for web-based/cloud applications-experience supporting FISMA and NIST 800 series controls is essential. Proven ability to operate at a senior, independent contributor level-must be able to create solutions from scratch, address unique technical challenges, and navigate strict regulatory frameworks. Strong problem-solving skills for working within complex government-imposed security/compliance constraints. Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills-must work closely with diverse teams and explain compliance impacts. Ability and enthusiasm to support application growth (e.g., scaling current applications, standing up new AWS environments for new clients). #LI-JU1
