Solutions Architect - Nutanix Cloud Manager . In this impactful role, you will be instrumental in driving the adoption of Nutanix solutions and products among our customers. As a subject matter expert, you will provide essential technical expertise to ensure customer success. Your insights will bridge the gap between a customer's specific business issues and Nutanix's innovative solutions, with the ability to communicate effectively to both technical and executive audiences. As their trusted technical advisor, you will create demos, execute proofs-of-concept (POC), and offer consultative support on architecture and implementation. This position offers high visibility and is considered a pinnacle role in Systems Engineering. Your success will hinge on your technical aptitude and your communication skills. About the Team Our Systems Engineering & Solution Sales organization comprises over 800 dedicated technical sales professionals. They focus on establishing and aligning technology opportunities with customer business challenges and objectives. This consultative team is recognized as an expert resource by Nutanix sales, customer success, partners, and clients. Your Role Act as the key subject matter expert and guide customer decisions toward adopting Nutanix technologies. Lead initiatives for customer adoption and ensure ongoing satisfaction with implemented solutions. Enjoy solving complex operational challenges through automation. Present and showcase Nutanix technologies; engage customers from initial discussions to final evaluations. Foster long-term business relationships, becoming a trusted advisor within selected accounts. Deliver technical product and solution presentations and training sessions to customers, partners, and sales teams as needed. Install, support, and maintain Nutanix solutions during POC deployments. Influence Nutanix’s go-to-market strategies by providing feedback on product requirements and sales challenges. Stay ahead of industry trends and knowledge in your expertise area. What You Will Bring 10+ years of presales experience with a proven record of encouraging technology adoption. Strong knowledge of VMware vRealize Operations (vROps) / VMware Aria. Proficient experience with Public Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Java, Go, or NodeJS, along with Linux administration. Deep understanding of containers and orchestration systems like Kubernetes, Mesos, DC/OS, Swarm, and OpenShift. Experience with configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Salt, and Terraform. Exposure to large environments working with RDBMS, EDW, and NoSQL. Familiar with monitoring tools like Splunk and ELK. Understanding of IT finance fundamentals (ROI/TCO discussions and public cloud costs). A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced technology environment. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams leveraging company resources for sales growth. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with strong written abilities and a keen attention to detail. In-depth understanding of technical discovery and proposal processes, enabling you to grasp customer needs, address objections, and assist in developing business cases to close deals. Willingness to travel within the United States as necessary. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. The expected pay range for this role at commencement of employment is USD $165,600 to USD $248,400 per year. Actual base pay may vary based on individualized factors such as market location, knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include elements like sign-on bonuses, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards, along with a comprehensive range of benefits including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off. Details on participation in these benefit plans will be provided upon receiving an employment offer. Employees will be in an at-will position, and the company reserves the right to modify base salary and other compensation programs at any time based on individual or company performance and market factors.
