MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented
Network and Computer Systems Administrator
to join our team at
Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, DC . This is an
onsite
position. You will serve as the primary technical authority for the installation and configuration of enterprise Windows Server and Oracle Database environments, driving innovation through virtualized network deployment and automation.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Configure and maintain computer systems within a virtual server environment (Hyper-V/Citrix) to support Oracle and Java development. Lead the installation and upgrade of system components, managing virtual servers and integrating automation to optimize mission-critical workflows. Document technical specifications for existing and planned software and virtual systems to ensure long-term sustainment. Collaborate with stakeholders to explore database environment upgrades, prioritizing data integrity through all system changes, and monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex hardware/software issues to maintain continuous operational availability. Design and implement robust network security measures, including firewalls and VPNs, to protect sensitive national security infrastructure and perform regular backup and disaster recovery operations to ensure enterprise-level business continuity and data protection. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline (Equivalencies: HS+16yrs, AS+14yrs, MS+10yrs, or PhD+8yrs experience). Twelve (12) years of total relevant experience. Seven (7) years of position-specific relevant experience in network administration or enterprise system management. Must possess an active DoD 8140.01 IAT Level II Certification (e.g., Security+ CE). Demonstrated experience performing system administration in a Windows Server and Oracle Database environment. Experience with setup and deployment of virtualized networks using Windows Hyper-V. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Oracle Database Enterprise Edition and WebLogic Server Standard Edition. Proficiency with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops for nationwide endpoint deployment. Ability to evaluate and integrate emerging technologies, such as Kubernetes, into future architectural solutions. Master's degree in an IT-related discipline or Software Development. Relevant industry-standard certifications such as Red Hat Linux, AWS, or VMWare. Clearance Requirements:
Must have a current/active TS/SCI. Additional security screening will be required for this position. The candidate must pass this screening and accept a requirement for the potential to be selected for a counterintelligence polygraph. Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%. Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
The projected compensation range for this position is $128,000.00-$214,400.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
