Your Role in Our Success: As a vital member of our Cyber Security team, you'll play a key role in safeguarding our company's most critical information and assets. Your expertise will drive the implementation of cybersecurity risk management best practices across our enterprise. In this position, you will be responsible for detecting and analyzing potential threats, deploying countermeasures, and performing comprehensive risk and vulnerability assessments, including in cloud environments. You will also assist in incident detection and response, operational recovery, and the formulation of organizational cybersecurity strategies and policies. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and analyze security intelligence from our security controls, leading triage, containment, and eradication of threats. Engage in proactive threat-hunting activities to stay ahead of the evolving threat landscape. Participate in simulated adversary emulation exercises, utilizing tools such as Atomic Red Team and Caldera. Provide effective incident response by correlating intelligence from various systems and third-party sources. Administer security awareness training and oversee enterprise vulnerability management solutions as needed. Maintain and manage advanced enterprise-level endpoint and network security solutions. Document all activities and incidents to provide clarity on ongoing threats and system status. Identify trends and provide situational awareness on cybersecurity issues. Ensure all systems are documented with user guides and standard operating procedures. Adhere to change management procedures and security policies, including SLAs for cybersecurity incidents. Customize views and content for security events, following an approved methodology and gaining necessary approvals. Maintain configurations and system baselines, ensuring security monitoring policies are updated as agreed with management. Generate reports on significant or suspicious security events, incorporating the latest threat intelligence. Additional Responsibilities: Stay updated on the current threat landscape through open-source intelligence (OSINT). Enhance your skills and knowledge through training, conferences, and hands-on experience. Collaborate with third-party vendors for external audits and assessments. Manage investigations involving cybersecurity using specialized software. Create performance metrics for system capacity planning. Meet availability and update requirements for security systems. Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed. Who You Are: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related IT discipline OR 5 years of relevant experience. Possess one of the following certifications: Security+, CEH, GCIH, GREM, or CISSP. 3 years of specialized technical and end-user assistance experience in desktop support and application software. 2 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity analysis or incident response. Keen understanding of MITRE ATT&CK and Lockheed Martin's Cyber Kill Chain. Proficient with memory analysis tools and Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) practices. Experienced in managing enterprise vulnerability management and security awareness programs. Knowledgeable in implementing controls to protect Operational Technology (OT) environments. Experienced with multi-factor authentication systems. Skilled in managing security appliances and monitoring software such as IPSs and firewalls. Experienced in enterprise change management and testing procedures. Strong organizational skills with proven customer service abilities. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Experience working within highly regulated environments. Maintain professionalism and composure while interacting with employees and vendors. Able to interpret a variety of instructions effectively.
