In the Developer Experience (DevX) organization, we empower our engineers to quickly and reliably develop, build, test, and release high-quality code. This involves creating products and systems tailored to the needs of Coinbase engineers. As a crucial member of the Mobile DevX team, you will have the opportunity to influence the future of mobile development at Coinbase. Your work with React Native and Expo will involve creating innovative tools that improve the developer experience and expedite app releases. This position allows you to impact the mobile ecosystem at a leading fintech company by collaborating with top-notch engineers and spearheading significant projects that reach millions. Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain mobile infrastructure using React Native, iOS, and Android technologies.
Develop and enhance developer tools to optimize the mobile development process.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and enhance app performance.
Automate app release processes to ensure seamless over-the-air updates.
Participate in code reviews and mentor peers to foster a culture of continuous learning.
Stay current with mobile development trends and technologies to drive team innovation.
What We Are Looking For: Expertise in React Native, or substantial experience in either iOS or Android development with a desire to learn React Native.
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, as our tools are based on these languages.
Strong enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new technologies.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset towards enhancing developer experiences.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Preferred Qualifications: A proven record of contributing to high-quality, scalable mobile applications.
Experience with mobile infrastructure and developer tooling.
Familiarity with Swift or Kotlin.
Knowledge of cross-platform development practices.
Previous experience in a fintech or tech company recognized for mobile innovations.

The target annual base salary for this position ranges from $186,065 to $218,900 USD. Full-time offers from Coinbase include bonus eligibility, equity eligibility, and comprehensive benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)).
