Description The Leidos Intel sector is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to enhance the development, integration, deployment, and maintenance of mission-critical systems. Key Responsibilities: Act as a proactive self-starter with excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Conduct thorough reviews of custom code development. Utilize GITLAB functionality and scripting to troubleshoot error codes effectively. Leverage AWS services and technologies, including CloudFormation, S3, ECS, and EKS. Implement AWS Serverless architectures such as Lambda, API Gateway, and manage load balancing and autoscaling. Support development testing operations and provide critical insights. Utilize Python for scripting and automation tasks. Architect cloud-based solutions that enhance efficiency and scalability. Understand and apply DevSecOps methodologies and workflows. Develop and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Adhere to software development and sustainment best practices. Collaborate effectively using tools like Jira and Confluence. Basic Qualifications: BS in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with 6+ years of experience. Holder of an active Top Secret clearance with the capability to obtain TS/SCI with Polygraph after hire. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines. Proficiency in AWS Lambda and AWS ECS environments. Strong background in deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting Docker containers. AWS Certification (DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect) is a plus. Familiarity with ArcGIS or geospatial technologies would be beneficial.
