You will report to the Machine Learning Manager within the AEC Solutions Team. Location:
We support hybrid and remote work options for our team members on the East Coast of the United States. Responsibilities Design and implement scalable data architectures and pipelines. Work with diverse, large-scale multimodal datasets, applying advanced preprocessing and content understanding techniques. Develop and optimize production-level machine learning solutions ensuring scalability and reliability, while adhering to engineering best practices. Establish processes for model experimentation, evaluation, and optimization. Write high-performance code for production ML pipelines, contributing to technical excellence. Conduct thorough requirements analysis and collaborate with cross-functional team members to document solutions. Lead the identification of key challenges and create innovative technical solutions. Effectively communicate your findings to influence stakeholders through data analysis, qualitative insights, and compelling visual presentations. Mentor junior engineers, promoting a culture of knowledge-sharing and technical growth within the team. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. 7-10+ years of experience in machine learning engineering or a relevant field, showcasing leadership in implementation. In-depth expertise in deep learning architectures like Transformers, CNNs, GANs, along with modern ML frameworks such as PyTorch, Lightning, and Ray. Experience managing LLMs and related technologies such as embedding models, vector databases, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation systems in production. Strong understanding of data modeling and systems architecture. Proficient in using AWS cloud services and SageMaker Studio for seamless data processing and model development. Robust foundation in computer science principles, distributed computing, and algorithm efficiency. Proven ability to turn theoretical concepts into practical solutions through prototyping. Capable of working independently while effectively collaborating across various teams. Exceptional technical writing and communication skills for documentation and presentations. Preferred Qualifications Background in the Architecture, Engineering, or Construction industries. Extensive experience in data preparation, hyper-parameter selection, and optimization techniques. Proficiency in parallel and distributed computing, with substantial hands-on experience using platforms like Spark or Ray. Demonstrable experience in developing and deploying high-scale machine learning algorithms in real-world applications.
