While many positions at Coinbase are remote-first, in-person participation is required at various times throughout the year. We hold multiple team and company-wide offsite events annually to promote collaboration, connection, and alignment, and attendance is both expected and fully supported. We are on the lookout for a Software Engineer to join our Trust & Loyalty team to develop a new suite of products aimed at high net worth individuals (HNWI). This team will work collaboratively with the wider Coinbase One (CB1) team. CB1 is redefining membership in the crypto space by offering unmatched benefits such as zero trading fees, enhanced staking rewards, account protection, and priority support to its members. Our goal is to create an experience akin to Amazon Prime for all Coinbase users, making our membership indispensable and keeping users loyal to Coinbase over competitors. As a Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in crafting unique experiences that deliver exceptional value to our customers, significantly driving revenue for Coinbase. You will collaborate closely with product partners to develop strategies for launching and scaling this new initiative. What you'll be doing: Designing and building elegant and functional user experiences.
Implementing product experiences that directly contribute to the company's revenue.
Partnering with engineers, product managers, and senior leadership to transform our vision into actionable quarterly roadmaps.
Fostering a positive atmosphere in meetings and ensuring inclusivity in every interaction with coworkers.
What we look for in you: Minimum of 2 years of experience in developing web applications and delivering user-facing features using JavaScript and modern component-based frameworks like React.
Proficient in creating and deploying user-facing features with component-based UI frameworks.
Knowledgeable about current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance, security, and usability.
Familiar with product and design lifecycles, collaborating closely with designers, engineers, and product managers.
Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code tailored to customer needs.
Nice to haves: Experience in developing high-fidelity in-app chat functionalities.
Background in crypto or financial exchanges.
Experience with crypto technology, including engaging with onchain activities, Ethereum addresses, ENS, and blockchain services.
Pay Transparency Notice:
Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position ranges from $147,000 to $174,000 USD. Coinbase offers full-time employees bonus eligibility, equity eligibility, benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)).
