Join our Trading team as a Senior Frontend Engineer, where you'll be instrumental in developing and expanding our core trading systems. You'll have the opportunity to work on features that cater to everyone from casual traders using Simple Trade to professionals utilizing Advanced Trade, alongside derivatives and decentralized trading. This position offers a unique chance to solve exciting engineering challenges at the crossroads of crypto, trading infrastructure, and consumer products. Your Responsibilities:
Create engaging and intuitive interfaces for real-time price analysis, order execution, and trading data visualization, empowering traders to make informed decisions.
Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to ensure a best-in-class product experience.
Transform innovative ideas into valuable trading features that our customers will love.
Partner with engineers and leaders to translate our strategic vision into actionable quarterly roadmaps.
What We're Looking For:
A minimum of 5 years of experience developing web and/or mobile applications, with strong expertise in React, JavaScript, and Typescript.
Demonstrated experience leading and delivering impactful projects; recognized as a subject matter expert within your team.
Expertise in developing user-focused features utilizing component-based UI frameworks.
Familiarity with product and design processes and the ability to collaborate effectively with designers and product managers.
Commitment to writing high-quality, well-tested code that is scalable and maintainable.
A passion for keeping up-to-date with industry standards and best practices in frontend architecture.
A proactive attitude, a growth mindset, and a desire to uplift your teammates.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience launching products from concept to scale.
Background in active trading systems or high-availability financial environments.
Experience in trading crypto or other financial instruments.
At least one year of experience developing production-grade React Native mobile applications.
Familiarity with GraphQL and/or Relay.
A history of optimizing application performance to ensure a smooth user experience.
Knowledge of crypto, including Ethereum interactions and decentralized application engagement.
Compensation Transparency:
The annual salary for this position ranges from $186,095 to $218,900 USD based on your work location. Full-time offers also include bonus potential, equity, and benefits (medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)). Coinbase is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
