We are seeking a diligent and motivated Material Handler to join our dynamic warehouse team in Des Moines, Iowa. This role is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods throughout our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials. This involves operating various equipment, maintaining inventory accuracy, and adhering to all safety protocols. You will be part of a fast-paced logistics environment where attention to detail and a strong work ethic are paramount. Responsibilities include:
- Loading and unloading trucks, ensuring all shipments are accurate and undamaged.
- Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Storing materials in designated locations, maintaining organization and cleanliness.
- Picking and packing orders accurately according to customer specifications.
- Conducting inventory counts and assisting with stock management.
- Adhering to all company safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participating in regular safety training and maintaining a safe work environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Performing general warehouse duties as needed.
