We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Fulfillment Associate to join our dynamic team in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role is critical to our logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and promptly fulfilled. As a Fulfillment Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks within the warehouse environment, including picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. You'll work closely with other warehouse personnel to maintain a smooth workflow and contribute to overall warehouse efficiency. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety are essential. We offer a competitive hourly wage and opportunities for growth within the company. This is a full-time position with regular shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using handheld scanners or other provided technology.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring all labels and documentation are correct.
- Conduct inventory checks and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Assist with receiving and stocking of incoming inventory.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and PPE requirements.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or fulfillment experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
