We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Associate to join our facility in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. Your primary focus will be on maintaining efficient workflow, ensuring inventory accuracy, and upholding our high standards for safety and quality. A thorough understanding of warehouse logistics and a commitment to best practices are essential. We emphasize a strong safety culture and expect all employees to strictly adhere to safety guidelines and utilize necessary PPE. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick and pack orders efficiently and precisely.
- Prepare shipments for delivery, including labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper PPE usage.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience is required, preferably in a similar role.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Ability to perform demanding physical tasks, including frequent lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of logistics, inventory control, and warehouse operations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Commitment to safety, including knowledge of and adherence to safety regulations and PPE requirements.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
