Our Seattle, Washington facility is seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain the accuracy of our warehouse stock. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing inventory levels, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing procedures to minimize stockouts and overages. Your expertise will directly impact the efficiency of our logistics operations. You will work closely with warehouse staff and management to ensure data integrity and optimize stock placement. Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels across the warehouse.
- Perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Identify and report slow-moving or obsolete stock.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to improve inventory accuracy.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role.
- Proficiency with WMS software and inventory management principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain best practices.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and willingness to follow them, including wearing PPE.
- Strong communication skills.
