Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, managing inventory adjustments, and ensuring that all stock is properly located and recorded within our warehouse management system (WMS). A keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of inventory control principles are essential. You will also play a key role in implementing and enforcing inventory control policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE. This position requires the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement solutions to improve inventory accuracy. We are looking for someone who can work independently and contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Process inventory adjustments and transfers accurately.
- Maintain the integrity of data within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Monitor inventory levels and identify items for replenishment or disposal.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to improve inventory accuracy.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Assist with receiving and shipping processes as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of inventory control best practices and logistics operations.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate lifting.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the use of PPE.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
