Your day-to-day will involve using scanning technology to locate and retrieve items from inventory, meticulously packing them to ensure they arrive safely at their destination, and preparing them for shipment. Strong attention to detail is crucial to minimize errors and maximize customer satisfaction. You will be part of a dedicated team focused on operational excellence and maintaining a high standard of service within the logistics network. We are committed to your well-being and require strict adherence to all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role requires the ability to perform tasks involving significant physical activity, including frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs and prolonged periods of standing and walking. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders using RF scanners.
- Inspect items for quality and ensure correct quantities are picked.
- Package goods securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for outbound logistics.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
- Follow all company and OSHA safety standards, utilizing provided PPE.
- Meet performance metrics for speed and accuracy.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center is advantageous.
- Capacity to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended shifts.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety practices.
