Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This leadership role is essential for managing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficient product flow, maintaining inventory accuracy, and upholding the highest standards of safety and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, extensive knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), and a proven ability to motivate and guide a team. You will be instrumental in optimizing processes, driving productivity, and ensuring compliance with all logistics and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance goals.
  • Implement and enforce strict safety protocols, ensuring proper use of PPE and adherence to OSHA guidelines.
  • Manage inventory control procedures, including cycle counting and discrepancy resolution.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency and space utilization within our logistics network.
  • Maintain warehouse equipment and ensure operational readiness.
  • Coordinate with transportation and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Analyze operational data and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Handle employee issues and performance management.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field a plus.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in warehouse supervision or a related logistics management role.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control techniques.
  • Strong understanding of logistics operations and supply chain management.
  • In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and experience implementing safety programs, including thorough knowledge of PPE.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
