Join our vibrant logistics team in Jacksonville, Florida, as an Order Picker! We are seeking motivated individuals to accurately and efficiently assemble customer orders for shipment. As an Order Picker, you will utilize RF scanners and other equipment to locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves, ensuring the correct products and quantities are picked. This role is fundamental to our order fulfillment process and requires attention to detail, speed, and accuracy. You will work in a dynamic warehouse environment, collaborating with team members to meet daily picking targets. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse locations using RF scanners, pick lists, or other assigned methods.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details, ensuring correct product and quantity.
- Transport picked items to packing or staging areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and safety.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Assist with stocking and replenishing inventory as directed.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Meet or exceed established productivity goals for order picking.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned, supporting overall logistics functions.
- This role involves significant walking and occasional Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse/logistics role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and RF scanner prompts.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good physical stamina; ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting tasks.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets.
- Must understand and follow safety guidelines, including wearing required PPE.
