Join our dedicated logistics team as an Order Picker in Milwaukee, Wisconsin! We are searching for reliable and efficient individuals to accurately pick and prepare orders for shipment. In this role, you will be the front line of our order fulfillment process, ensuring that our customers receive precisely what they ordered, when they expect it. Attention to detail, speed, and a strong commitment to a safe work environment are essential. You'll be part of a dynamic team contributing to the smooth operation of our warehouse and the satisfaction of our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately select items from warehouse shelves according to customer orders or pick lists.
- Verify product details and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Use of RF scanners or other technology to track picked items.
- Safely transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, ensuring aisles are free of obstructions.
- Adhere to all company policies, especially those related to safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory checks and cycle counting as required.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as directed by supervisors.
- Be prepared for regular lifting tasks, with items often weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Understand and contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods. Capability to perform frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Familiarity with warehouse technology such as scanners is a plus. A strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE guidelines. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team. Basic understanding of logistics processes is beneficial.
