Marmon Lift Recruitment is supporting one of the UK’s leading independent lift engineering companies in the search for an experienced and driven Technical Sales Manager.
Now operating as a stand-alone, PE-backed business, our client is on an exciting journey of commercial and operational transformation. The Technical Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving repair revenue growth nationwide, providing technically sound and commercially competitive solutions to both existing and new customers.
Responsibilities: Technical Sales Manager

Identify and secure lift repair and modernisation opportunities across existing and new customer portfolios.
*
Prepare accurate and competitive quotations aligned with technical safety standards.
*
Conduct site surveys, assess lift conditions, and translate findings into clear customer proposals.
*
Collaborate with Service Managers, Engineers, and Regional Teams to ensure effective project handover and delivery.
*
Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring professional communication and customer satisfaction.
*
Negotiate contracts and pricing to achieve sales targets and profitability goals.
*
Maintain an up-to-date CRM sales pipeline and drive growth.
Ideal Candidate: Technical Sales Manager
*
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in lift repairs, modernisation, or technical sales (ideally within the lift industry).
*
Strong technical knowledge of lift systems, components, and safety regulations.
*
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a technical or engineering environment.
*
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
*
Commercial awareness and ability to balance profitability with customer satisfaction.
*
Proficient with CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and quoting systems.
*
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally on occasion.
