**
* Manage and optimize network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, VPNs (Virtual Private Networks), and MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching) networks to ensure high availability and performance.
* Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network devices such as Cisco routers, switches, firewalls (including Cisco ASA), Juniper devices, and Meraki appliances.
* Implement and maintain security protocols using tools like Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine), PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol), SSO (Single Sign-On), SSL/TLS encryption, and network firewalls to protect organizational assets.
* Conduct vulnerability assessments using tools like SolarWinds, Splunk, PRTG, and perform regular system hardening to mitigate risks.
* Support the deployment of virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere, ESXi hosts, and manage storage solutions including SAN (Storage Area Network) systems with RAID controllers for data redundancy.
* Develop scripts using Bash, PowerShell, Python or Ansible to automate routine tasks in system administration and network management.
* Monitor network health using SNMP-based tools like SolarWinds or PRTG; perform capacity planning; implement load balancing strategies; and ensure high availability for critical services.
* Assist in the installation of new network hardware and software components; document configurations; update network diagrams; support remote access solutions including SSH, SFTP, VPNs, and remote desktop software.
**
* Proven experience in computer networking with a strong understanding of routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, BGP; network protocols including TCP/IP, UDP; and IP networking fundamentals.
* Hands-on knowledge of configuring and managing Cisco ISE, ASA firewalls, Juniper devices, Meraki equipment, and openSUSE or Ubuntu Linux distributions.
* Familiarity with SAN/NAS storage systems; experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi environments; virtualization skills are highly valued.
* Strong background in system administration across Windows Server environments as well as Linux distributions like Debian or CentOS.
* Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for hybrid network solutions; understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) principles for deploying secure networks.
* Ability to perform vulnerability assessments using tools like SolarWinds or Splunk; knowledge of network security best practices including encryption standards and system hardening techniques.
* Excellent scripting skills in Bash or PowerShell for automation; familiarity with DevOps practices is a plus.
* Relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Associate/Professional), CompTIA Network+, CISSP or equivalent are preferred but not mandatory.
