Advanced Nurse Practitioner / Advanced Clinical Practitioner Setting: GP Surgery – Nottingham System: SystmOne Contract Type: Locum / Temp-to-Perm / Permanent Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) or Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to support a well?established GP Surgery in Nottingham. This role offers flexible working and the opportunity to join a highly supportive primary care team. Working Pattern Ideally Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays (1–3 days per week) 8:00am – 6:30pm Some flexibility available (must either start at 8:00am or finish at 6:30pm)Pay / Salary Locum: £45 LTD per hour / £39 PAYE Inclusive per hour Permanent: Salary dependent on experienceRole Overview The successful practitioner will work autonomously within a multidisciplinary GP practice team, delivering high?quality, evidence?based care across a wide range of patient presentations. You will be responsible for independently assessing, diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with both acute and chronic conditions. Key Responsibilities Undertake full patient assessments including history taking, clinical examination, diagnosis, and treatment planning Independently manage minor illness and undifferentiated presentations Prescribe safely and effectively in line with V300 Independent Prescribing Request, interpret and act upon diagnostic tests Support management of long?term conditions including: Asthma COPD Diabetes Hypertension Provide health promotion and preventative care advice Refer appropriately to secondary care or community services Maintain accurate clinical records using SystmOne Work collaboratively with GPs and the MDT Contribute to audits, governance, and service quality improvementEssential Requirements Qualified ANP or ACP with full Level 7 Master’s qualification V300 Independent Prescribing Previous experience within Primary Care / GP Surgery Confident user of SystmOne Ability to work autonomously and manage clinical risk effectivelyThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Advanced Practitioner seeking a stable, flexible role within a friendly, supportive primary care environment.
