You will be responsible for picking items from shelves, packing them securely for shipment, and preparing them for dispatch. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, speed, and a strong commitment to quality control. As part of our logistics network, you'll contribute directly to customer satisfaction. We prioritize a safe working environment and expect all team members to strictly adhere to safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The ideal candidate will have experience in a warehouse or fulfillment setting, be comfortable with tasks involving significant physical activity including frequent Lifting, and possess excellent organizational skills. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from designated warehouse locations using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Inspect items for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently using appropriate materials and methods.
- Label packages accurately for shipment and stage them for carriers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all company policies.
- Assist with receiving and stocking incoming inventory as needed.
- Contribute to maintaining inventory accuracy through careful handling and scanning.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including proper Lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Support the overall logistics and operational goals of the fulfillment center.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order fulfillment, picking, packing, or warehouse roles is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring frequent Lifting, standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Basic computer skills may be beneficial for using scanners.
- Commitment to upholding quality and safety standards within our logistics operations.
