Our large-scale distribution center in Indianapolis, Indiana is looking for skilled Distribution Center Associates to join our logistics team. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a busy operation focused on efficiency and accuracy. As a DC Associate, your responsibilities will span multiple warehouse functions, including receiving goods, accurately stocking inventory, fulfilling customer orders, and preparing shipments for dispatch. We prioritize a safe working environment above all else, and adherence to all safety procedures and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is expected of every team member. The ideal candidate is someone who is proactive, works well under pressure, and has a strong commitment to team goals. A background in warehouse operations or logistics is a plus, but we are eager to train individuals with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn. You will be working in a dynamic environment that requires consistent physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and occasional Lifting. Key Responsibilities:
- Process incoming shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Store merchandise in correct locations within the warehouse.
- Pick and pack orders with a high degree of accuracy.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and staging.
- Participate in inventory control activities, such as cycle counts.
- Uphold all safety regulations and ensure proper use of PPE.
This role requires the capacity for Lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs regularly. Join our team and contribute to the smooth operation of our logistics hub in Indianapolis.
