Exciting opportunity for a Picker/Packer in Madison, Wisconsin! Our logistics operations depend on the accuracy and speed of our Picker/Packers. If you are meticulous, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and are committed to safety, we want to hear from you. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting products from inventory and preparing them for shipment. This involves reading order details, locating items efficiently, and ensuring that each order is complete and correct. Maintaining a safe and organized workspace is a top priority, and you will be required to follow all safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). You will be expected to work closely with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and meet daily targets. The ideal candidate possesses excellent attention to detail, good manual dexterity, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Warehouse experience, particularly with picking and packing duties, is highly desirable. Your physical capabilities will be utilized daily as you'll be on your feet, moving throughout the warehouse, and handling goods. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items according to customer orders.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Package orders securely using appropriate materials.
- Label packages for shipment.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety policies and procedures, including wearing designated PPE.
This role requires a strong capability for Lifting items up to 50 lbs. Become a vital part of our logistics team and contribute to customer satisfaction from our Madison hub.
