Are you a hardworking individual seeking a role in Grand Rapids, Michigan? We are looking for a dedicated Material Handler to join our warehouse team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, and packing and shipping orders. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our warehouse operations. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. You will work with a team to manage the flow of goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks. Understanding of basic warehouse principles and a willingness to learn are key. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming inventory.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials for shipment.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by correctly recording all movements.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear appropriate PPE, including gloves and safety shoes.
- Follow guidelines for safe Lifting and material handling.
- Support overall logistics operations by ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
