Seeking a meticulous Receiving Clerk for our busy distribution center in Durham, North Carolina. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for incoming shipments, playing a key role in our logistics chain. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately unloading, inspecting, and documenting all incoming goods. You will verify quantities against purchase orders, identify any damages or discrepancies, and ensure that all items are properly logged into our inventory management system. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic warehouse environment. You will be responsible for maintaining organized receiving areas and coordinating with other departments to ensure timely processing of goods. A commitment to safety is paramount, including the correct use of PPE. While primarily a stationary role at the receiving dock, occasional moderate Lifting may be required. You will be a critical part of ensuring the integrity of our inventory and the smooth operation of our supply chain. The ideal candidate is reliable, proactive, and possesses strong data entry skills. Prior experience in a receiving or inventory control role is highly desirable.
