We are seeking a dedicated Order Picker to join our energetic team in Tampa, Florida. This role is essential for ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for locating and retrieving items from our warehouse inventory, verifying quantities, and preparing them for shipment. You will be working in a fast-paced setting, contributing to the smooth operation of our logistics department.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations according to order tickets or RF scanner.
- Verify that the correct items and quantities are picked for each order.
- Stage picked orders in the designated area for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Comply with all company safety regulations and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and assist in maintaining stock accuracy.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to inventory.
- Regularly perform moderate Lifting of items, typically up to 40 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order picking lists and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to perform Lifting tasks, up to 40 lbs.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse logistics and inventory management.
- A strong focus on workplace safety.
- Must be reliable and able to work assigned shifts, including occasional overtime.
