Join our thriving warehouse team in Richmond, Virginia as a Picker/Packer! We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to accurately pick and pack customer orders, ensuring timely and correct shipment. This role is fundamental to our e-commerce fulfillment process and requires a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment where efficiency and accuracy are key to our success. Your contribution will directly impact customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order sheets.
- Pack items securely into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify product codes and quantities against order details.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Follow all warehouse safety protocols and use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Handle merchandise with care to prevent damage.
- Be prepared for regular Lifting of boxes and items.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order forms.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math skills for order verification.
- Ability to work efficiently in a standing and walking role.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Knowledge of general logistics operations is a plus.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
- Must pass a background check.
