We are hiring a diligent Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team in Seattle, Washington! This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our distribution center, involving a wide range of tasks such as receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. You will be responsible for handling materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring that our operations run smoothly and safely. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Sort and stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations, maintaining organization.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks, verifying contents and ensuring proper placement.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory management tasks.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, safely.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with all safety regulations.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times, including safety vests, gloves, and steel-toed boots.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations and logistics.
- Perform tasks involving regular Lifting of goods, up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment is a strong asset.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and Lifting for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as required.
- Must understand and follow all safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control principles.
