Our growing logistics operation in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is seeking enthusiastic Fulfillment Associates to join our dedicated team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of customer orders, from picking and packing to preparing them for shipment. You'll contribute directly to customer satisfaction by ensuring orders are fulfilled correctly and efficiently. This position requires diligence, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety in a dynamic warehouse setting.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently pick customer orders using order lists and scanning technology.
- Pack items securely into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Verify order accuracy before packaging and shipment.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for pickup by carriers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, following all warehouse safety guidelines.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory management tasks as directed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics environment preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Capable of standing for extended periods and performing repetitive lifting tasks, up to 45 pounds.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles.
