*Role Overview*
We are seeking a professional with solid IT experience to manage, maintain, and improve the IT infrastructure of client businesses throughout the greater Cincinnati area, mostly on the eastside. The hired candidate will perform systems administration, manage the service delivery experience, work with the help desk to resolve escalations, implement cybersecurity measures, deploy cloud architecture, administer AI solutions, and lead projects such as network infrastructure design and installation (new systems or upgrades). This role requires the ability to confidently converse with client executives in a non-tech manner.
*Responsibilities*
· Perform systems administration of managed services: utilizing RMM tools for patch management, proactive maintenance for devices, security management, network configurations and updates, and BCDR activities.
· Function as primary service delivery coordinator: monitoring and managing tickets from assignment to resolution, scheduling work, and ensuring clients are satisfied and SLAs are achieved.
· Diagnose, research, and troubleshoot escalated computer and network issues (OS, Hardware/Software, Networking, VPN, Wi-Fi, Servers) both remotely and onsite.
· Design, configure, and lead the installation of complex networks, cybersecurity solutions, servers, desktops, virtual machines, cloud architecture, VOIP products, and backup systems.
· Provide assistance and guidance to L1 and L2 Help Desk technicians.
· Perform network assessments and cybersecurity risk assessments. Consult with clients on recommendations.
· Provide strategic planning to clients to ensure their technology is secure and working to meet their business goals.
· Respond promptly to alerts and provide on-call emergency services after hours/weekends as needed.
· Travel to client locations for evaluations and project work
· Communicate complex technical situations to non-technical client executives effectively.
*Qualifications & Experience*
· Education: Associate degree or equivalent required.
· Experience: 3+ years of IT-related technical experience.
· Certifications (Required): CompTIA Network+ and Security+ (or equivalent).
· Certifications (Preferred): CCNA, CCNP.
· Strong knowledge of computer/server hardware and software troubleshooting.
· Expertise in network and cybersecurity security principles, standards and implementations including advanced firewall configuration, Layer 2 protocols and network segmentation.
· Experience within M365 Admin portals and also email migrations to M365.
· 3+ years of Microsoft Windows Server administration (Required).
· 3+ years of Computer networking management (Required).
· Experience with Mac OS (1 year preferred).
*Technical Skills*
· Centralized management tools (RMM) for disk imaging, patching, and monitoring.
· Help Desk issue tracking systems (PSA).
· Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, SD-WAN, LAN, VLAN, WiFi, Firewalls, Routers, Switches.
· Active Directory and Group Policy Object (GPO) management.
· Cloud environments and virtualization.
· Powershell scripting and automation.
