Job Description: The Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse is responsible for assessment, planning, implementing, directing, communicating, coordinating and evaluating care and strategies for improving quality of life.

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Other Education and Training

  • Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
  • Nursing diploma is acceptable
  • Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Perform nursing services relating to the care of patients in long term care
