WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 

We're on the lookout for a Room Stylist to join our vibrant team at the Renaissance It's a full-time gig, promising $19 an hour for a minimum of 30 hours of sheer room styling excitement per week.

As part of the Style crew, you'll be the maestro behind the scenes, keeping the Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel rooms in top-notch shape. Whether you're whipping up rooms, strutting down corridors, or making sure every nook is spick and span, your room styling will set the tone for our guests' unforgettable experience.

As a Room Stylist, your stylish responsibilities include:

  • Ensure all areas, from bedrooms to public spaces, dazzle with cleanliness every day.
  • Stay on top of reports and training to maintain top-notch skills and service.
  • Ace the Guest Response Program, providing guests with exceptional care and attention.
  • Manage key control and Lost and Found, securing items and maintaining records flawlessly.
  • Maintain a professional and ethical demeanor in all interactions with guests and colleagues.
  • Champion cleanliness in public areas, ensuring they shine like stars.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols, creating a stylish yet safe environment.
  • Keep up with checklists to maintain our high standards and report any issues promptly.
  • Be punctual and ready to rock the stylish housekeeping routine every single day.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with other departments to maintain a stylish and unified guest experience.
  • Deliver VIP-level customer service to all guests and vendors, leaving a lasting impression.
  • A flair for finesse and a passion for delivering unparalleled customer service which includes greeting guests that pass by.
  • A knack for cleaning and styling that makes every corner sparkle.
  • Always ready to work in sync with the team, creating a harmonious and stylish atmosphere throughout the hotel.
  • Meet quality standards and handle the physical demands of the role such as standing, bending, or walking for extended periods and lift, carry, push, pull, and move a carts with no assistance.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE CONSIDERED

  • Comprehension - You should be able to understand and interpret written information in work-related documents such as brand standards, and checklists.
  • Writing - Strong written communication skills are essential to communicate effectively with guests and other team members. 
  • Oral Comprehension - The ability to listen actively and understand information presented through spoken words and sentences is crucial for this role. 
  • Customer and Personal Service - You should possess a solid understanding of customer service principles and processes, including assessing customer needs, meeting service standards, and evaluating customer satisfaction. 
  • Analytical/Critical Thinking - You should have the ability to gather and organize information systematically, recognize patterns and relationships in complex data, identify problems and implications, generate alternative solutions, and evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of various approaches to problem-solving.
