Job Description: The Nurse Educator integrates skills and knowledge from nursing theory and principles of adult learning in the provision of direct patient care, clinical coordination, clinical problem-solving, education and research for a defined group of patients and/or programs.
Human Resources Exemption: No
Experience

  • Requires a minimum 3 years recent Critical Care experience
  • Experience with planning, implementation, quality monitoring and evaluation.

Education

  • Masters of Continuing Education
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Licenses

  • Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor Certificate (ACLS)
  • Basic Life Support Instructor Certificate (BLS)
  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
