Job Summary
The Routing & Logistics Expert researches, develops and implements routing and logistics plans to enhance productivity, safety, and decreased costs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
 

  • Designs and re-designs routing and logistics solutions through the collection, verification, and analysis of current data relating to existing routes, vehicles, disposal facilities, and productivity.
  • Assists in the development of policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control. Creates and implements plans to optimize routes and other transportation operations.
  • Communicates route changes to key personnel and provides necessary training and transitioning tools.
  • Monitors activity during implementation of new, optimized routes.
  • Monitors and analyzes productivity results.

Qualifications 
A. Required Qualifications 
 

  • Associate's Degree (accredited) in Computer Science, Business Administration, or similar area of study
  • High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and two (2) years of relevant work experience
  • No experience No prior work experience (in addition to education requirement)

B. Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a logistics/transportation environment
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and align cross-functional partners
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a servant leader mindset focused on supporting teams, removing barriers, and driving shared outcomes 

  • Proven problem-solving skills 
     

This job primarily operates in a professional office environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, etc. This is a hybrid role Monday - Thursday in office and Fridays are flexible to work from home.
The expected base pay range for this hybrid position is $85,000- $105,000 This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for bonus. This position is for an existing vacancy.
