Join our Earth & Environment team as a Junior Groundwater Modeller and help shape solutions that protect communities, ecosystems, and Canada's water resources. In this role, you'll work alongside hydrogeologists, geochemists, and environmental engineers to support groundwater flow and contaminant transport modelling—contributing directly to cleaner environments and more resilient infrastructure.
Your Impact
  • Develop and refine conceptual and numerical groundwater flow and contaminant transport models that support remediation, impact assessment, and water resource management.
  • Apply industry‑standard tools such as MODFLOW, FEFLOW, HydroGeoSphere to help guide meaningful project decisions.
  • Analyze, interpret, and visualize hydrogeological datasets to calibrate and validate models that support regulatory submissions and client deliverables.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to build integrated solutions touching geochemistry, engineering design, and environmental risk evaluation.
  • Contribute technical content to proposals, reports, and presentations used by communities, regulators, and clients.

The Skills That Set You Apart
  • A degree in Hydrogeology, Environmental Engineering, Geoscience, or related discipline, with early‑career experience applying hydrogeological principles.
  • Familiarity with groundwater modelling software such as MODFLOW, FEFLOW, HydroGeoSphere, Leapfrog Works.
  • Experience using visualization and geospatial tools such as ArcGIS, Surfer, ParaView, Tecplot.
  • A mindset grounded in analytical thinking, curiosity, and problem‑solving.
  • Eligibility for professional registration (e.g., P.Geo., EIT) is an asset.

Compensation AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $65,600 – $88,100 MB & ON: $59,800 – $83,500 NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $59,200 – $79,800 Disclosure:
