Position Summary

The Embedded Hardware Intern will support the design, development, testing, and documentation of electronic hardware used in water treatment systems. This 12‑month internship offers hands‑on exposure to circuit design, prototyping, lab equipment, and engineering processes while contributing to real product development initiatives.

Typical Day Includes:

- Assisting in design, development, and analysis of electronic hardware.

- Supporting schematic capture, PCB reviews, and documentation.

- Performing hands‑on lab work using oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters.

- Helping build, test, and debug prototype boards.

- Updating Bills of Materials (BOMs) and engineering documentation.

- Supporting hardware verification, testing, and troubleshooting.

- Collaborating with engineering, procurement, and suppliers.

- Assisting with component research and lifecycle management.

Essential Requirements:

- Enrolled in or recently completed Electrical, Computer, or Mechatronics Engineering.

- Knowledge of basic electrical circuit theory.

- Familiarity with schematic capture or PCB design tools.

- Experience using lab equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter).

- Strong problem‑solving skills and willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Exposure to microcontrollers or basic embedded systems projects.

- Familiarity with I2C, SPI, or UART.

- Basic soldering or PCB prototyping experience.

- Interest in firmware (C/C++) for hardware bring‑up.

- Coursework or hobby projects in electronics.
