In Life-Cycle Material Management, the Reliability Engineer is responsible for performing day-to-day maintenance engineering tasks, including reliability engineering, maintenance engineering, reliability-centered maintenance, preventive maintenance, and vibration analysis. The KPI priority is to increase MTBF across all extrusion presses and reduce overall downtime to achieve target.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for various equipment to increase machine uptime and equipment reliability.
- Track and improve KPIs such as downtime compliance, MTTR, and MTBF.
- Manage PM scheduling along with material and inventory management, vendor identification, requirement specification, and offer evaluation.
- Perform condition and health monitoring of equipment (SKF techniques, CSI 2130 Machinery Health Analyzer/vibration analysis).
- Generate and utilize Pareto charts to identify and analyze equipment failures in order to prioritize maintenance activities and equipment improvements.
- Update equipment data, preventive maintenance task lists, critical spare parts lists, and diagnostic methods in Megamation as necessary to improve reliability.
- Perform root cause failure analysis on equipment failures and develop strategies to prevent recurrence.
- Organize proactive Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) sessions and conduct reactive root cause analyses.
- Maximize equipment reliability while maintaining an economical total cost of ownership.
- You have a bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Experience in Reliability Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, and Reliability- Centered Maintenance.
- General computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with limited supervision; must be self-motivated and a self-starter.
- Experience in performing preventative maintenance.
- Vibration Analysis skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Emphasizes personal and professional growth. Gains knowledge and skills, staying up to date with new technologies.

- In person - Lakeshore locations
- Ability to work flexible hours or off-shifts and weekends if required.
- Salary range: $85, 000 – $115, 000 per year based on experience
- Eligible for company bonus incentive plan
- Eligible for overtime pay
