The SMT (Surface Mount Technology) Setup Operator is responsible for tooling up and tooling down jobs running on SMT lines, ensuring correct part setup as per documentation. The role supports production by working on related setup equipment and software, coordinating with production and inventory teams, and following ESD, safety, and quality procedures to maintain efficient SMT operations.

What the job is all about:
- Utilizing setup documents to pick components, setup parts on feeders, load on feeder carts including understanding polarity, pitch and part identification.
- Board labelling, Operate Stencil Wash machine & X-ray equipment
- Work closely with SMT Operators, Inventory Processors and Supervisors while maintaining Safety Policies, ESD practices and adhering to MSDS procedures
- Fully understand the operation of the MES system with respect to on-line documentation.
- Familiarity with MS Office/PC-based software, and will use TOLP and Inovaxe software

- Electronics Manufacturing experience.
- IPC-A-610 certification
