We are looking to hire a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team Full-Time and help manage our employees. In this role, you will be responsible for recruiting and onboarding applicants, supporting scheduling needs, complete administrative tasks, assist with employee orientation, relations and retention, and help out with other day-to-day business activities.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, hire, and onboard Personal Support Workers, Registered Practical Nurses, and Registered Nurses
- Respond to daily emails and phone calls, file employee documents, and work with the scheduling team to manage a staff of 200 employees
- Support the scheduling needs of complex care clients, including talking with families and other members of the healthcare team
- Update job descriptions and post job vacancies on external job sites
- Administer pre-employment assessments and new employee orientations
- Support with conducting intakes for new, prospective clients
- Monitor employee certification requirements and follow up with employees as needed
- Conduct performance evaluations for field staff
- Maintain ongoing employee support and satisfaction
- Collaborate with team members to provide excellent customer service
- Support scheduling with filling gaps
This position is estimated to start ASAP
Requirements
- 3-5 years of healthcare experience
- Preference for someone with recruiting experience
- Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Organization, time management, and multi-tasking skills
- Customer service and leadership
- Adaptable and flexible attitude
- COVID-19 considerations: COVID Vaccination Receipts required subject to an exemption pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code
- As a hybrid role, you will need to have the ability to commute to Toronto, ON M4G 1W6
- Valid Criminal Record Check
- Valid WHMIS certification
