We are seeking dedicated Warehouse Workers to join our team in Detroit, Michigan. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of our dynamic logistics and distribution network. As a Warehouse Worker, you will perform a variety of essential tasks that keep our operations running smoothly. Responsibilities may include receiving and inspecting incoming goods, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders for shipment, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse. You will work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the efficient flow of products from our facility to our customers. The ideal candidate will be a team player, possess a strong work ethic, and have a commitment to safety. We provide comprehensive training, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and emphasize adherence to all safety procedures. This role requires physical stamina, as it involves significant standing, walking, and lifting. Prior experience in a warehouse setting is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated individuals who are eager to learn and contribute to our logistics goals.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Sort and store inventory in designated locations within the warehouse.
- Pick items from inventory to fulfill customer orders using pick lists or scanners.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is preferred.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Team-oriented and reliable.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Basic understanding of logistics principles is helpful.
Physical Demands: This position requires continuous physical activity including standing, walking, bending, stooping, and frequent lifting.
Safety Commitment: Your safety is our top concern. All Warehouse Workers will receive thorough training on safety regulations, hazard awareness, and the mandatory use of PPE. We expect all team members to actively participate in maintaining a safe and secure logistics environment.
