Job Summary:
Advanced Forklift Operator position available in San Jose, California! We are seeking experienced and safety-conscious operators to manage the movement of goods within our state-of-the-art logistics facility. If you have a proven track record of operating forklifts and a dedication to operational excellence, this role is for you. You will play a crucial part in ensuring efficient and accurate inventory management and order fulfillment.
Responsibilities:
  • Safely and efficiently operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, order picker) to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
  • Load and unload trailers and containers with accuracy and care.
  • Transport materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
  • Perform routine daily checks and maintenance on forklifts, reporting any defects.
  • Accurately record inventory movements using scanners and warehouse management systems.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
  • Adhere strictly to all OSHA regulations and company safety policies, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Assist with other warehouse operations and logistics tasks as needed.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
  • Valid forklift certification is mandatory.
  • Ability to perform lifting tasks, including moving items weighing up to 60 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and operate equipment for extended periods.
  • Excellent understanding of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and possess good communication skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment is essential.
