In this role, you will be responsible for picking items from warehouse shelves, preparing them for shipment, and ensuring all orders are accurately processed. Responsibilities:
- Locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves using order pick lists or scanning equipment.
- Accurately count and verify items to ensure order accuracy.
- Package items securely for shipment, following company guidelines.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock rotation activities.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding order status and potential issues.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred, but not required for motivated candidates.
- Ability to read and understand order pick lists and item descriptions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, including frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.
- Comfortable with lifting up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the shift.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- Adherence to all safety guidelines and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
- A commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment is essential.
