Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a handheld scanner or order list.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipment.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear and properly utilize all required PPE, including safety vests and footwear.
- Operate pallet jacks and other picking equipment safely.
- Report any stock discrepancies or damaged items.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Perform tasks involving moderate to heavy Lifting throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
- Knowledge of operating picking equipment like pallet jacks.
- Ability to read and understand order lists and product labels.
- Excellent stamina and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Commitment to wearing appropriate PPE at all times.
- Basic understanding of logistics and inventory flow.
- Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic.
