Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Stock and organize materials in warehouse storage locations.
- Perform regular inspections of material handling equipment and report any issues.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and procedures.
- Wear and maintain all required PPE, including safety vests and gloves.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records.
- Follow all logistics and operational guidelines.
- Support team members in various warehouse tasks as needed.
- Engage in tasks involving substantial Lifting, ensuring safe lifting techniques are applied.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting of materials up to 60 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety best practices and procedures.
- Familiarity with operating pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to wearing required PPE at all times.
- Basic knowledge of logistics and inventory control.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
